Please click here to go directly to the Drivers & Software area for the EOS Rebel T3i. In the Firmware section, you should see two options:v101-t3i-600d-x5.dmg (for Mac OS X)v101-t3i-600d-x5.exe (for Windows)Click to download the version you need based on your OS. The firmware upgrade procedure is the same as previous upgrades for EOS cameras:1. Download the zipped firmware file to your hard drive2. Copy the downloaded .FIR file to an SD memory card by inserting the card into a card reader and dragging/dropping the file to the card3. Install the SD card into your camera and call up Firmware Ver. x.x.x. in the EOS Rebel T3i's 3rd set-up menu (with the yellow wrench)4. Select OK when asked if you want to upgrade to the new versionNote that full PDF instructions for the upgrade procedure will accompany the firmware upgrade when you download the zipped file from the site. Be sure to read and thoroughly understand the steps before attempting to install it into your camera.
Well the 650D clearly does and others say the 550D does - the 600D sits in between : When I shot the photos they all appeared on playback inside the camera so I think that means the camera can support them. Wirdly they started to downlaod from the card when I inserted it in the MacBook Pro 13,, but I wonder if the card reader speed in the mac is the problem (ie it's not the canon but the Apple that cannot handle Class 10 cards). But then I moved them vis cable from the 650D and that was fine. The one I used in the 650D has not degraded even if it doesn't show up when the camera is plugged in on the desktop of the Apple )but intiially the one in the 600D did show up and thus i started the drag and drop). The Card is not a UHS-1 version, but a standard Class 10.
When I connect my EOS 600d Camera from Canon with my Mac Book Pro (Mountain Lion 10.8.2), it doesn't get mounted as a drive... Nothing is happening. I googled the problem and was able to get my pictures on to my Mac by using a SD-Card reader. Anyhow, it's not recommended to open the camera every time I want to transfer some pictures and EOS Utility isn't compatible to Mountain Lion. Did anyone come across that problem?
When will the canon webcam software for mac OS Catalina be available? I have not been able to use my dslr for zoom meetings. I understand there are alternate third party softwares like camera live but, I find there is a lag in transfer. For example, when I speak into the dslr , my voice and body are not real time. Please help!

DriverGuide maintains an extensive archive of Windows drivers available for free download. We employ a team from around the world which adds hundreds of new drivers to our site every day. How to Install Drivers Once you download your new driver, then you need to install it. To install a driver in Windows, you will need to use a built-in utility called Device Manager. It allows you to see all of the devices recognized by your system, and the drivers associated with them.
Many device drivers are not updated through the Microsoft Windows Update service. If you are having trouble finding the right driver, stop searching and fix driver problems faster with the Automatic Driver Update Utility. Automatic updates could save you hours of time.
The Driver Update Utility automatically finds, downloads and installs the right driver for your hardware and operating system. It will Update all of your drivers in just a few clicks, and even backup your drivers before making any changes.
Many computer problems are caused by missing or outdated device drivers, especially in Windows 11. If your desktop or laptop is running slow, or keeps crashing or hanging, there is a good chance that updating your drivers will fix the problem.
It can control many other devices supported by built-in INDIGO drivers or it can use any 3rd party remote INDIGO or INDI driver. Out-of-the-box it contains INDIGO drivers for the following cameras and focusers:
The built-in INDIGO driver implements PTP-over-USB protocol and, in theory, it can work with almost any Nikon DSLR, Canon EOS DSLR, Sony Alpha DSLR-like or mirrorless camera. Not every feature is supported for every camera (e.g. no LiveView or manual lens drive with older Nikon and some Sony cameras or BULB mode with Nikon cameras works only for D600, D5200, D7100 and later models), but it doesn't mean, that such camera can't be used. As far as this application is based on INDIGO framework, it can use many INDIGO drivers for focusers for astronomical telescopes.

"I just bought the canon 100-400 4.5/5.6 IS-II lens and have an old T3i body. I have been using the 55-250 mm lens with the t3i for about 10 yrs and made the upgrade. I am having some focus issues using the t3i with the newer lens. Is it time to upgrade the body as well or is it just me not knowing what I am doing ? Some of the images on the AV mode are blurry with the 100-400 while I was test shooting in a store with the demo piece. Is the t3i too slow on shutter speed and auto focus for a 100-400 or does it have nothing to do with it ?Thanks"HI Uday,Sorry you are having sharpness issues with a Canon EF 100-400 II lens mounted onto your Rebel t3i camera. The t3i was one of Canon's most successful cameras. Released over a decade ago in 2011, there are still so many t3i cameras around still being used. One of my old time favorites. It is likely, as you guessed, a slow shutter speed that is causing blur from motion-not from focusing. The EF 100-400 is fully compatible with your t3i camera. Here is a post that explains the two main causes of unsharp photos: Fix Blurry Photos.Fix Blurry Photos With Canon t3i and 100-400mm LensWithout seeing a sample image or not knowing your camera settings, it is hard for me to give you a definitive answer to your question and help solve this issue. Is it possible you could send a photo or two, along with the camera settings that were used (f/stop, shutter speed, ISO)? It is possible, but VERY UNLIKELY, that you had a bad copy of the EF 100-400mm 4.5/5.6 IS-II Lens. The Canon t3i does not support micro-adjustment of it's autofocusing system. Higher end Canon camera bodies, there is a micro auto-focusing adjustment to fine tune the sharpness between specific cameras and lenses. The Image Stabilization (IS) setting can be used on your 100-400mm lens which can help with sharpness caused by slight camera movement (slow shutter speeds). Without seeing a sample image of the blur you are experiencing it is difficult for me to be sure what is causing the lack of sharpness. Some might say that having such an amazing, modern lens like the EF 100-400 II is overkill for an older, less capable camera like the Rebel t3i, I say you should be able to take some great shots. I hope this helps.
